[Update: We’re also on twitter! I’ve caved and made the site an official twitter to support Jennifer in the Twitter world. Feel free to follow us at @JLH_Source]

9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the return of their favorite first responder dramas due to the production shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Fox announced Monday its fall primetime line-up, but excluded the hit series from its schedule, despite the flagship drama’s renewal for a fourth season and its spinoff’s for a second. Both series are expected to premiere midseason in 2021, but do not have exact debut dates. Other series currently being held for a midseason premiere include Duncanville, Call Me Kat, The Great North, Hell’s Kitchen and Housebroken.
The 9-1-1 franchise is wildly popular with viewers who will surely deem it worth the wait, as the original series brought in about 10 million viewers per episode last season and its spinoff bringing in about 9.1 million. “9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star are truly two of the strongest and most thrilling dramas on broadcast television, as well as being centerpieces for Fox Entertainment,” Michael Thorn, President of Entertainment, Fox Entertainment said in a statement upon the series’ renewal in April, as per Deadline.
“Creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, as well as their incredible teams of writers, directors, casts and entire crews, make jaw-dropping, edge-of-your-seat magic in every episode,” he continued. “From Los Angeles earthquakes and tsunamis to Texas-sized tornados and bucking broncos, both shows deliver incredible spectacle with strong, identifiable characters you care about week to week. We eagerly look forward to many more thrilling rescues in both series, which help honor this country’s brave first responders, as well as those around the world.”
The 9-1-1 franchise was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, and follows the high-pressure world of first responders such as police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers who must act quickly to save lives in even the most wild scenarios. Starring Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Jennifer Love Hewitt star, with Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Rockmond Dunbar and Ryan Guzman, WWE superstar Ronda Rousey has been appearing in the series as a recurring character.
The hit series’ spinoff, 9-1-1: Lone Star stars Rob Lowe as a New York firefighter who relocated to Austin, Texas with his son. Using his NYFD skills, Lowe teams up with Liv Tyler, Jim Parrack, Ronen Rubenstein, Sierra McClain, Natacha Karam, Brian Michael Smith, Julian Works and Rafael Silva for high-stakes drama and tension-filled disaster relief.

Today I am bringing you tons of Jennifer Love Hewitt goodies. First starting off with screen captures from last weeks episode of 9-1-1. She wasn’t in it much so there wasn’t much to cap but don’t forget this Monday is the season finale!

The Ryan Murphy-produced procedurals are the network’s two highest-rated scripted series this season.
Fox has made its first two drama renewals for the 2020-21 season, picking up 911 and spinoff 911: Lone Star for new seasons.
The two procedurals, created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, are Fox’s top-rated scripted shows of the season, with 911 ranking in the top 10 on all of broadcast TV in the key ad-sales demographic of adults 18-49. 911: Lone Star, meanwhile, had a big post-NFL premiere in January and posted steady numbers in its regular home on Monday nights.
The 2020-21 season will be the fourth for 911 and the second for 911: Lone Star.
“911 and 911: Lone Star are truly two of the strongest and most thrilling dramas on broadcast television, as well as being centerpieces for Fox Entertainment,” Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn said Monday in a statement. “Creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, as well as their incredible teams of writers, directors, casts and entire crews, make jaw-dropping, edge-of-your-seat magic in every episode. From Los Angeles earthquakes and tsunamis to Texas-sized tornados and bucking broncos, both shows deliver incredible spectacle with strong, identifiable characters you care about week to week. We eagerly look forward to many more thrilling rescues in both series, which help honor this country’s brave first responders, as well as those around the world.”
With a week of delayed viewing, 911 is averaging 10.48 million viewers and a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49, while 911: Lone Staraveraged about 9.1 million viewers and a 1.8 in the demo. Fox says that with multiplatform viewing added in, 911 rises to 16 million viewers — tops on the network this season — while 911: Lone Star draws 12.3 million multiplatform viewers.
The two shows join the long-running animated series The Simpsons and Family Guy and the freshman animated shows Bless the Harts and Duncanville on Fox’s roster for 2020-21. The network also has long-term deals in place with the NFL for Thursday Night Football in the fall (or whenever the NFL season begins) and with the WWE for Smackdown.
Minear is showrunner on both 911 and 911: Lone Star, which hail from Disney’s 20th Century Fox TV, and executive produces both with Murphy and Falchuk.
Other exec producers on 911 are Alexis Martin Woodall, Bradley Buecker, John J. Gray, Kristen Reidel and stars Angela Bassett and Peter Krause. On 911: Lone Star, Woodall, Buecker, Gray, Bassett and Rashad Raisani are EPs, and lead actor Rob Lowe is a co-exec producer.
